Our Story

Like most 21st century love stories, we began with a swipe on a dating app. We had our first date at the Seattle Aquarium where we walked, talked, and were generally nervous around each other.

We also took a ride on the Seattle Great Wheel that day and Thomas didn't check a Seahawks score once. We squeezed in one more dinner date before Melissa went home for a holiday break, where the laughs came a bit easier and we were able to open up more. After collecting our thoughts for a week or two, we both felt like this might turn into something special.

We have been on so many adventures together since then, including: coaxing Melissa up the Narrows river in Zion National Park, riding a train across the country in a small compartment for two days, and getting trapped together in Vegas by COVID last summer.

Our relationship has come out of each adventure stronger than before. We are excited to celebrate with everyone on our big day as we set off on the most exciting adventure yet.
